Rats Off to Tough Start

Minneapolis, MN - An 0-2 start has Rink Rats fans shaking their heads wondering if Minnesota is headed down the wrong path. Head Coach Dan Bylsma however isn't concerned. "We played well last night against the Demons in our loss. We played them hard and that was a good loss. Our loss to the Sparrows didn't look good but I think nerves got the best of us. It's tough to say
tonight's game is a must win since we're so early in the season, but I'm going to call it a must win. We have to get up on the Capitols early and put a bunch of shots on net. Our guys need to score and Ryan (Miller) needs to play like he did in the preseason."

Rumors have swirled that GM Rink Rat is looking for extra help for his squad. Names such as Lombardi, Ranger and Kulemin have been thrown out as possible players on the move. GM stated that the right deal hasn't come along yet but the team is still on the lookout for the right fit. "We have some deals we've discussed with other GMs but nothing is close. Both sides are
trying to come to terms on agreements and we'll see what happens in the next few weeks. If we continue to lose we'll have to make some changes.

The Rink Rats take on the Capitols in this evening's matchup. Minnesota is home and is hoping for a better effort out of their offense and goaltending.
